Origins are form the 16th century developed in brazil via Angolan slaves brought there by the Portuguese colonialists. The angola tradition is rooted in its african lineage, with a focus on the expression, connection and spiritual side, as a form of resistance against oppression.

Our Capoeira classes London is shared by Contra Mestre James Berimbau & Joel, with inspiration of the capoeira tradition of the deserted outback's & countryside's of Bahia. We offer capoeira classes in North West London. Classes are held every Tuesday & Thursday 19:00-20:30 @ 10 Kingsgate Pl, London NW6 4TA. Tuesdays are Beginner level, Thursdays are mixed levels. A grounding, spiritual & holistic practice, combines spirituality, philosophy, history, breathing, stretching, movement, acrobatics & movement.
